How did We forget Jammen. He's utter hatred for all things hawkeyes is matched only by his consistent over-rating and blind love for the gophers.

Agreed Jammen needs to be on the list, and rather high, maybe just under KR.

    1. KR - no one else is even close. When people accuse KR of homerism, his standard reply is to lash out at Iowa fans for some reason. It's almost a knee-jerk reply at this point, out of the blue and not in response to anything specific.

    2. Badcat - a distant second to KR, but I don't know whether I've ever heard him say anything good about a wrestler who doesn't wear the blue and white. I'm not sure he follows the college sport very well other than to know who is wrestling PSU.

    3. Zapp - One of the funniest posters on TWT, but deeply drinking the Hawkeye Koolaid.

A year ago I would have picked Chop and Herkey as the top two, but Iowa's down season has shown me that they actually have a very realistic point of view about their team and can admit when certain individuals are overmatched. In addition, neither one of them bitch about stall calls, which is a signature trait of a homer. If Chop could learn the difference between Logan and Hunter Stieber then he might even move up another notch. Come on Chop. get a freaking grip on your midwest self.
No just Herkey#1 & his veil thin PSU hate that is all over the message boards. Other than that some of my best internet friends are hawkeye fans.

I think Jammen brings the most vitriol, KR is a different type of homer. I think he's more difficult to debate with because he truly believes the strange things he says. It's part of his charm.

vitriol: Sulfuric acid. Cruel and bitter criticism.

That sounds harsh. For the record I am a way bigger Gopher fan (I wanted Dalen Wasmund not J Robinson to succeed Wally) than I am a Hawkeye hater. I do try to offset the Hawkeye homerism that dominates this board.

Jammen--You were a great oversight in the initial picks. I vote for you too!!

I never think of myself as a homer. I'm called out for negativity on the Hawkeye boards only behind vais. However, if you guys think so, maybe you know me better.

Didn't you and I both vote for ourselves last time this topic came up?
