I don't see Dennis being as low as 5. He was just hte # 1 seed, and has a win over Gomez and two out of three wins over Kennedy. Dennis will probably be the 4th seed, now that I look at it, so it probably won't make a difference, although it's possible he could be seeded third. I think he'd prefer the 4 or 5 seed.

I think Craig will be 7th seed, Umbehauer will be 8th. Craig has a win over Umbehauer, and he's looked great winning EIWA's this weekend.

197, I'd like to see Todd as the # 1 seed, but I'm not sure how that weight will play out. It's a tough weight to seed.

Those should be real close. My only comments: 133 I'd put Hoch at #3, keep Kennedy ahead of Dennis, and put Baker in at #8. At 141, Tsirtsis still gets the nod for #3, followed by Williams, Hoehn, Gallick, Jaggers, and Lashaway. At 149, I'd give Terry #5 over 5th in Big10 Ruschell. At 165, Sponseller drops below at least Marable - head to head loss and lack of proven results in the big tourny's 2 years running now. Maybe still ahead of Dwyer and Reader, but maybe not. At 197, I'd give Chriswell #3, then Todd, Herbst, Askren, Halsey, Foster.

Can someone give me a logical reason why Brester would jump over Varner when Jake has beat him 2 out of 3?

    5. Falck
    6. Nicholson
    7. Fio
    8. Sentes

7 and 8 are are a little tough.

    133:
    1. Gomez
    2. Humphrey
    3. Kennedy
    4. Hochstrasser
    5. Dennis
    6. Ness
    7. Fanthorpe
    8. Ruggirello

Strayer could take Ruggirello's spot at #8. I think 1-5 is probably right.

    141:
    1. Russell
    2. Tanelli
    3. Gallick
    4. Williams
    5. Krom
    6. Hoehn
    7. Drouin
    8. Lashaway

This one is really hard. The first 2 are easy, but after that it falls apart. Jaggers beating Tsirtsis and majoring Thorn really throws a stick in the spokes. Has Jaggers earned a low seed or not? Does Jantzen keep his seed after missing half the season and losing the EIWA finals? Drouin lost, Thorn took 5th. Craziness.

    149:
    1. Metcalf
    2. Caldwell
    3. Jenkins
    4. Palmer
    5. Ruschell
    6. Terry
    7. Patacsil
    8. Saddoris

This one isn't too bad. I think Caldwell passes Jenkins for #2, not that it matters. Palmer blew his shot to get into the lower bracket by losing to Nadhir. The lower bracket could be interesting: Both Caldwell and Jenkins have missed a ton of time lately with injuries, and neither of them has faced any tough competition since coming back. Jenkins faced Metcalf, but you can't really use that as a barometer of how good he is feeling since Metcalf has destroyed him every other time, too. He did only beat Nadhir by 1 point. Will either of them be in very good health/conditioning? Will we see someone else in the finals?

    157:
    1. Poeta
    2. Burroughs
    3. Leen
    4. Gillespie
    5. O'Connor
    6. Chandler
    7. Erisman
    8. Moley

Moley may have earned higher than #8 with his win over Gillespie. Gillespie may not drop below Leen.

    165:
    1. Lewnes
    2. Howe
    3. Morningstar
    4. Fay
    5. Sponseller
    6. Marable
    7. Dwyer
    8. Reader

The only real questions is how many spots Sponseller will drop after his poor Big 10 tournament.

    174:
    1. Luke
    2. Cannon
    3. Browne
    4. Jordan
    5. Borschel
    6. Anceravage
    7. Henrich
    8. Miller

I think Miller is probably better than Henrich, but Henrich has fewer losses.

    184:
    1. Herbert
    2. Keddy
    3. Pucillo
    4. Smith
    5. Kilgore
    6. Patterson
    7. Umbehauer
    8. Leblanc

Probably the easiest one so far. Craig could beat out Leblanc for #8.

    197:
    1. Brester
    2. Varner
    3. Todd
    4. Herbst
    5. Chriswell
    6. Askren
    7. Halsey
    8. Foster

It will be interesting to see where Chriswell gets seeded. He destroyed Herbst, and has lost only to Varner. He just doesn't have many matches.

    285:
    1. Zabriskie
    2. Ellis
    3. Rosholt
    4. Porter
    5. Dudziak
    6. Monteiro
    7. Erekson
    8. Wise

I went with the Intermat rankings here. I don't see any results that should change them.

I'm probably missing some conference results that would change these a little.

125 not too many arguements looks right

133 I personally dont know that Dennis will drop all the way to #5 based off his b10 performance, although it is possible. There are a lot of different ways they could do things, although I do agree that Gomez winning B10s will likely get him the #1 seed despite a lackluster regular season.

141 Im not even going to bother that one is fricking hard

149 no way caldwell will get the #2 seed over bubba, Bubba only has one loss this year and it is to Metcalf. Yeah he looked like shit and only has one quality win on the year but that doesnt matter because caldwell has a loss to terry. I dont think it matters though because Caldwell will beat bubba if they meet in the semis.

157 Not sure about 7 and 8 I havent looked at records a ton but Im pretty sure Hall is going to be up there somewhere... Also Poeta getting the #1 seed would not surprise me, but he definitely does not deserve it. It should be #1 Burroughs and #2 Poeta.

165 looks respectable, this one is fairly tough to seed as well besides having Lewnes at #1.

174 Doubt very strongly that borschel gets dropped below Jordan considering that Jordan didnt win B12s and Borschel has a head to head win. Flip those two and it looks good

184 First six at this weight are far and away the easiest to seed... exactly like you have them. its possible craig gets top 8, I dont know if leblanc gets seeded that highly

197 Dont think you can possibly have Chriswell a spot below herbst when he majored herbst... either he doesnt have enough quality wins and gets seeded lower or he is the #4 guy ahead of herbst. I agree with your top 3 though

HVY Looks ok, although I dont know if monteiro deserves that high of a seed
    Gold is an idiot.

Vallimont has a horrible record but his stock has risen after BTs. No matter who I might be, I wouldn't want him on my side of the bracket.

Brester was the last one who one the match.. Also the fact that one of jakes victories was 4-3 with such a narrow margin and the fact that Brester one the last one the committee might think Brester has Varners #

I dont think so but if Varner can get past Todd what will be a tough match I think he will win it this time. Todd is looking good though

Varner also put a beatdown on Brester 10-3. Varner probably gets # 1 seed, but I think it should go to Tyrel Todd.

Have Donahoe or Nickerson beaten any top wrestlers this year? I know Donahoe missed the 1st semester becasue of his transfer and Nickerson's been bzattling injuries, but I don't recall seeing them having victories over any of the other seeded wrestlers.

Donahoe beat Precin, Peterkin, and Blanc; Nickerson beat Peterkin and Tyler Clark.

So the only one with a REALLY top level win is Donahoe.
