Missouri will qualify 8-10, depending on Hucke and Mellon.

    Waters - Top 4
    McCormick - 7-8
Hucke - win a match or two
    Bradley - R12
    Houdashelt - 7-8
    Toal - R12
    Henderson - 5-8
    Larson - R12 at best
Haynes - top 4 to R12 depending on which Haynes shows up
Mellon - might win one or two

I think Missouri is 5-10 at this point. As always, bonus points will decide how high they finish.

Btw, next year Mizzou will have Waters, McCormick, Houdashelt, Haynes, and DBradley all looking at top 5 finishes, with KBradley, Toal, and Larson AA threats. Neely, who cuts zero weight, will drop into 174 to replace Henderson and score points as well. Gonna be a hellava dual team, at the least.

Herkey seems a little slow?...Only in a foot race, but Iowa will boat race the rest of the field at NCAA's. I'll go into more detail when I have more time.

Is it possible to win the NCAA's this year without multiple finalists? I mean suppose a team has 10 AA's and probably just 1 finalist. Could that team still win?

If Minnesota were to win it this year, that's how they would do it. But it won't happen this year. It's simply amazing for a team to do that. That 2001 Minnesota team was a once in a generation team championship!

Sorry, Herkey, for not being more specific. I'm sure that there are lots of things that you're not slow in. The comment was only that you were SLOW to post for Iowa projected results at the NCAA's. But--we're still waiting for the details!

Tricky question as after watching Dardanes at 133 and Schiller at 197, I don't even know who the starters will be? Ill take a shot at it later. I smell a significant injury to Penn State, Okie State, Iowa, Cornell or Minnesota being more of a possible factor. All 50 of these guys aren't going to come out of this meat grinder 100% healthy. I do think Minny has some nice depth though at 133, 141, 157, and 197.

I vote for OSU or Iowa for the significant injury!!

Minnesota may have depth at 157, but not a lot of first team fire power. I do wonder if Thorn's spot is secure after Dardenes's showing this past weekend. Have they wrestled off? Schiller did look good as advertised. Has he wrestled off with Yohn? I would think the other Dardenes's spot at 141 is pretty secure.

Yohn beat Schiller in the finals at 197 at the Bison Open and he placed higher than Schiller did this weekend, and he's only a 2x returning All American.

The 197 spot isn't even close to being in question.

Gofer has a good point - I'm going with the huge assumption that there will be no injuries, but you kinda have to... right??
