Jacob Schlottke---Gone too soon, and the world is a little less bright because of it. RIP, brother.

One, two, Evans is coming for you...

Are they supposed to scan x-rays or trainer reports (if they are in fact banged up) and post them on their website?

I don't see how you're supposed to "prove" anything here.

Looks like seed saving to me.

    Seed protection. Very obvious.

Very true. Okey st only goes to Reno, the easiest of the big 4. I don't blame the coaches when the schedules can have that kind of mass disparity.

I doubt it is seeding. Unless Russell and Marion drop a few I think he is still looking at 3. Desroches still has things more in his own control, if he can beat Amuchastegui at Pac 12s.

Boris could drop to 4 easily, he'll face Mangrum at least once more, and maybe twice.

Maybe they are taking time to spend with tutors between semesters? I've seen that before ... some guys find themselves very close to ineligibiliy this time of year. Other than over-focus on seeding, that's all I can think of.

As far as OkSt only going to Reno, I don't get it. You'd think they'd challenge themselves a little more before the big Jan. 7 matchup. The matches in the Minn dual had a lot of stall calls going against OkSt (maybe not enough according to some) -- that doesn't bode well for them in Iowa.

    We'll find out soon enough.

As far as protecting seeds go, and this doesn't just point to boris and desroches, but more to the idea of protecting seeds in general...if you are good enough to earn a high seed, why can't you just go out and prove it?
