Thread: Southern Scuffle Team Predictions?

    Default Southern Scuffle Team Predictions?

Who should be the favorite to win? Seems like it'll come down to PSU v. Minny
Minny is better at 25,33,41 without question. PSU is better at 49,57,65,74 without question. 84,97 and hvy could go either way.

Can Cornell make a run? Doesn't seem possible without Simaz(and to be honest probably wouldn't happen WITH Cam)

Well I think you've nailed the Top 3. That being said, whomever has their team ready to wrestle will be the victors. I could see Champions for Minny at 125, 133 and maybe 141. I can see PSU with Champions at 149, 165, 174. I can see Cornell with champions at 157, 197. It's going to be pretty tight, no doubt.

I was gonna say, based on those, Minny takes the title. Deitchler could be the key. Who says Cam won't be there?

Loss to Nevinger aside, I'm really excited to see how Dardanes is able to navigate his way through a full tournament field.

Have loved watching him wrestle so far this year.

I think Vt is only sending backups to scuffle. Starters to midlands.

Three things that interest me looking at the rankings
    1. How will Meeks do against the guys he "should" beat.
    2. Last year the Scuffle is when Drucker took the spot from Kubec, now Roberts is knocking on Drucker's door, how does that shake out? With tournament shake up the OSU lineup again?
    3. Mangrum and Jack are both ranked high and they are both "supposed" to win their weights. How do the handle knowing that they're the top dog, do they live up to their seeds or are they overrated?

Deitchler is done. Like for good. So he wont contribute.

I heard Cam was out until after Scuffle but who knows.
