Edinboro looks like they have some great years in front of them. Lots of young talent in their lineup!

I wonder why Edinboro continues to do well and other PA schools with good teams in the past have not done well in quite a while--Clarion, Bloomsburg, Lock Haven? Flynn seems to be doing a good job at Edinboro. Is it the coaching elsewhere?

He was a guy who was very very good even as a freshman in HS, but never really made that jump into the nation's elite like some expected him to. Went 3-3-1-2 in the Ohio big school division. Nice to see that he seems to have taken off in college.

i'm guessing their ad helps out with the behind the scenes stuff that makes the coach's job less difficult. too many battles for most psac wrestling coaches, tough gig.

"Which HS did Habat go to? "

Habat went to Cleveland St. Ignatius.

His freshamn year, his loss at state was in the semis to 4xer Tony Jameson (13-1). Jameson of course was signed by Ohio State, but is now history.

His sophomore loss came in the quarters to Kyle Lang who went to on Ohio U, but is now history.

His senior loss came in the finals to Waquiem Comar, an individual of note, who I expected to win. A 3 sport star for Twinburg he had no interest in college wrestling.

I mention all of this because it speaks to Habat's perseverance and love for the sport.
