    A. Alton lost 8-6 to Vinson from Bing, so no Alton vs Molinaro. Vollrath dropped his semi 1-0 vs Fleming. On a high note, DT just stuck Yates of VT.

PSU has 8 in the finals. At this point it looks like 133 and 141 are pretty big holes for us. We have so much depth in other weights, it's too bad that we don't have some of that at 133 and 141. Hopefully Martelloti will come along as he gets eligible again. I don't know what the answer is at 141. Maybe Luke Frey--we didn't get to see much of him as he forfeited after his first bout win. But the team looks very solid at the other 8 weights.

Sherlock has definitely not been the wrestler I thought he would. I'd hoped to see Martellotti go a lot deeper into this tournament, but he may just need some time.

Megaludis after a slow start (2-1 in his first match) had a great tourney. He beat Fought (NC State) 11-1 in the final. Fought beat Garnett from Va Tech 16-7 in the quarterfinals.

Fittery beat Asper 8-4 and Taylor beat Fittery 14-6--good tourney for him. D Alton getting pinned by Fleming and A Alton's 8-6 loss to Vinson were disppointing. As was McIntosh's finals loss to Boley. But all-in-all a good tourney for PSU. Wright dominated everyone he wrestled which was good to see. I think he had all falls and TF's. I don't think Molinaro gave up a point in the whole tournament (he had 2 MD's, 2 TF's and 2 falls w/o giving up a point).

    A. Alton's loss to Vinson isnt that bad, Vinson should AA this year, he had a win over Dake last year before fizzling out at NCAA's. Certainly didn't expect McIntosh to lose that one. D. Alton was going to have his hands full with Fleming but I'd hoped for a better result

Megaludis won 2-1 on a stall call against Caleb Richardson who will be a freshman at Cornell next year. Richardson looked good in the couple of tournaments he has wrestled. It's too bad it was a pigtail match so he didn't get to wrestle back. It's good to see Nick Arujau make the final. His transfer to Cornell becomes official second semester. He may be the starter.

They're going to pull Perrelli who has had a pretty good season so far? For a relatively unproven guy? I'll be surpised if they do that.
To avoid criticism say nothing, do nothing, be nothing.
