Uhhh...just because you're "good" doesn't mean it's not an upset if you beat a National Champion. The kid got pinned by another true freshmen this year btw.

I personally got sick and tired of watching very talented wrestlers lose to this scrambling, counter puncher. Would love nothing more than to see it again at Big Tens and again at Nationals.

Agreed. I have nothing against the kid and he seems to be a good guy, but I'm not a big fan of his wrestling. He could be scoring way more than he does but he is content to win by the barest of margins against pretty much everyone, regardless of rank, and win a lot of the time by countering everyone's offense. Gets his takedown when he needs it, then shuts it down for the rest of the match. Makes you want someone to come along and blow him up a little bit. Makes you wish Jaggers could come bacl for one match and whomp him.

Hunter S seems to be starting out as a true freshman kind of like Russell did 4 years ago--Russell worked his way up to #1 in the country as a true freshman. Maybe Hunter will do the same. I guess he'll probably get a shot at #2 Novachkov in this tourney as well. If he wins that he would almost have to be #1 (or #2 behind Marion).
