Goferphan (got it right that time!)--you sound like someone who's been burned by Deitchler's injuries a lot over the years. You don't want to let yourself think that he can really stay healthy and win. He was pretty impressive against Dake and Alton. I think he'll win against Ok St.

Diechtler is not even the most injury-prone wrestler in this particular match.

Zapp has a point with that one.

As much as I'm rooting for Perry to have attended JO Summer Camp and to have a great year this year he's demonstrated nothing in his last two matches against Steinhaus that he's even close to him in folkstyle.

125: Sanders dec Rupp 3-0 Minnesota (Can definitely see Smith possibly making use of Morrison here, but even if he does Morrison hasn't looked anywhere near the same guy that slipped past Sanders last year since he got staph last year)

133: Oliver maj Thorn 4-3 OK State (All Star match or no All Star match, Thorn still isn't a guy I'm comfortable not picking to surrender bonus points to Oliver here. Will be a fantastic barometer match for him though)

141: Kindig dec Dardanes 7-3 OK State (Should be fireworks aplenty here in this match, Kindig's ability to scramble around on the mat wins it for him here in my mind)

149: Parks dec Ness 10-3 OK State (Had Ness not lost to Eifert I'd probably be picking him to win here, I still think Ness is the runner up at this weight and the end of the year but Jamal gets him in the early season here)

157: Deitchler dec White 10-6 OK State(The next match this big that White wins for Oklahoma State will be his first)

165: Yohn dec Bailey 10-9 OK State(They did split last year but Yohn was dominating the first match before the fall, and then came back and won the rematch comfortably)

174: McNeil dec Ortiz 13-9 OK State (Similar to what I did with Deitchler, I'm not going to put Storley in this predictions until he actually shows up in the line up)

184: Steinhaus dec Perry 13-12 OK State (See my post above, Perry was closer to getting majored in the second and third matches between these two last year than he was to winning)

197: Byers dec Yohn 16-12 OK State (Byers is just better, in my mind)

285: Nelson dec Gelogaev 16-15 OK State (Picking Nelson here, but don't really feel good about it at all. If Z is as big as he's apparently gotten I think he's able to withstand Nelson's pressure on the feet. Nelson can't let this turn into a shoot out)

Queso said someone from North of the border got injured. He was far from specific. Someone guessed Sonny, someone guessed Storley.

Even if it is Sonny(not to be harsh) but Schiller is a pretty tough nut in his own right.

I'm pretty sure Sonny's knee is not blown, as Viratas has him listed in his updated preview after talking to the MN coaching staff.

The Hawkeye Report had a bunch of speculation about who from MN was not wrestling this weekend and someone just threw out Sonny and his knee. (not necessarily an uneducated guess!)
