Thread: Oliver, Dake, Simaz & Taylor... who has the best year?

It would be a completely different match today given how much McDonough has improved, but of course Oliver has improved a great deal as well. He was excellent as a freshman and somehow looked significantly more dominant last year. Oliver also beat McDonough in a freestyle match after their redshirt year at FILA Juniors 6-0,fall and then pinned Andrew Long in the finals. If he's not struggling with weight, Oliver is the best wrestler in the country IMO. Taylor scores more because of his motor and turns from top, but he's not as solid against elite opponents, at least I haven't seen that from him yet to put him above Oliver.

It would be fun to see them go at it again sometime. That first period Oliver was totally dominating!

It was 11-3 after the first with a quick takedown from neutral in the second. Had their been riding time, I think Oliver had established by the first takedown in the 2nd. I couldn't watch it after 20 seconds in to the 2nd period.
