Re: A pox i say I remember my senior H.S. year. I had my first varsity dual meet......and my parents and family took off to celebrate Thanksgiving with family leaving me at home to starve and wrestle. I'm with ya, Russ.

Re: A pox i say Wrestling, especially the HS season has just about the worst possible timing for participants in a weight control sport and US eating-fests.
Let's kick things off by having the biggest eating holiday right at the beginning of the season - then the traditional calorie-fest week of Christmas through new-years that leads in to the hear of the season.
It sucked just a bit extra for me with my birthday coming just about halfway between Turkey and Xmas days.
