    125 Sanders #2
    133 Thorn #6
    141 Dardanes #13
    149 Ness #13
    157 Deitchler #9
    165 Yohn #8
    174 Storley #8
    184 Steinhaus #5
    197 Yohn #3
    Hwt Nelson #3

    Average Ranking = #7

    While Penn State and Iowa I think will show up better individually by rankings (too lazy to do right now) I do think most guys on this list have an opportunity to wrestle to these rankings or higher at NCAA's.

    I see 7 potential AA's out of this group but I don't necessarily think that Dardanes and little Ness and Deitchler are the odd guys out in that list. Knowing that only Sanders and Yohn will be gone next year is pretty exciting for Minny wrestling.

    Could agree more! I'd love to see the SD boys crack the lineup (obviously storely will at some point when he heals). I haven't got to see Ness and Dardanes wrestle yet but I must say I was very excited to see Deitchler go against Dake. He'll have a great year. Hopefully Sonny can get some lungs and make a run at a high AA as well.


    Hell I'm so excited for this year I got season tickets. By chance do you know when the Big Ten tournament will be in Minneapolis again? I've been searching for it and have not been able to find it anywhere.

    125 Sanders is great at the NCAAs, but usually has a hiccup. I see him as 3rd or 5th.
    133 Thorn hard to say at this time, but 6th is reasonable.
    141 Dardanes will do better than 13, I see him as at least R12 but possibly 6th, 7th, or 8th
    149 Ness same as Dardanes.
    157 Deitchler looks like a mid AA to me 4th -6th
    165 Yohn too inconsistent R12 (below ranking)
    174 Storely 8th is possible, but need to see more of him before we know for sure.
    184 Steinhaus 5th might be low for him....but 184 is a very tough weight.
    197 Yohn is a beast, but i see him 4th -6th (below ranking also).
    Hwt Nelson is improved. If he can develop a good shot he will win it all. If not maybe 3rd.

    So I see a couple slightly below their ranking, but a few above their ranking. If Minnesota stays healthy, I see them winning it this year & Next year!

    The only way Minny takes it home is with a true team effort 8 AA's at least to win. Penn State, Okie State, Cornell and Iowa will have to beat each other up to make it happen. Its a hole shot but its a shot. Quite a bit of parity so its gonna be fun and I think go down to the last two finals matches at NCAA's.

    It was just there in 08 (the year Dustin wrestled Metcalf at 149) so its going to be a while, has to cycle through the other member schools.

    I think there is a better chance for Sanders to make the final this year than any other. I don't find the depth outside of Bedelyon, Patterson and Waters that great. He's pounded Sprenkle and seems to have a good plan for Perrelli. I like Sanders if he is the #2 or #3 seed to make the finals.

    I don't know who besides McD beats Sanders this year. I wouldn't be surprised to see him drop a match or two this year at some point but come NCAA time I think that he is in the finals, unless somehow McD and Sanders end up as the 2 and 3 seeds.

    Yes, I see Sanders losing a couple matches as well but one of those will be to McDonough and I think the rest of the Top 8 will have 3-5 losses as they continue to cross paths.
