You know, I think I would rather be a man than a god . We don't need anyone to believe in us. We just keep going anyhow. It's what we do.

Guess the Thomusseits aren't redshirting then.

Two nice early season wins for Pitt--Lehigh and now Michigan. But both Lehigh and Michigan were missing their 141 pounders. Michigan not having Russell surely hurt them. Still, congrats to Pitt.

Its a bummer that Pitt doesnt have another heavy to put out this year. I would have liked to see Z. Thomusseit use his redshirt to take the whole year to bulk up and wrestle heavy next year.

Not hard to be a big fan of what Pitt's putting out on the mat. Great individual matches. Nice win for Nauman.

The win against Lehigh is probably more impressive as it was without the two Thoms, Russell would have almost certainly picked up bonus points and swung the match to Michigan. Lehigh missing Dutton with no Thoms's for Pitt was pretty much a wash in my mind. But a great start for Pitt this year!

Contrary to popular opinion, Pitt is #2 in PA this year.

The opinion that Pitt is #2 is very popular with me. Who is saying otherwise? I think they're a solid team, and I feel they have a stronger top to bottom lineup than Lehigh or Edinboro or Penn.
