Flo and Gohiocasts are posting the finals right now. Not sure if they are going to post other matches or not. I think they got finals up to 65 loaded now, others should be up soon.

At this point Steiber had a nice tourney and beat and overranked wrestler in the finals. I don't think it's worth talking about him beating Oliver yet. I could see Carter, Ramos and Futrell all laying a beating on Quiroga. I would also pick Mango to beat him. Don't get me wrong, it is an impressive win but it's really what I expected.

Congratulations Quinn & Gold (and other tOSU fans) on their fine tourney. After a really tough season last year it must be fun to see all these bright young prospects having some good showings!

I didn't see or hear anything about Garcia's matches other than what's been posted here but wrestlers out of Washington state ALWAYS have a hard time mat wrestling. It takes most of their first year to become even a little competent on the mat. If Garcia had a difficult time with his mat wrestling but was decent on his feet then I would not worry about it at all at this point. For some reason almost no schools in Washington drill much mat wrestling, it's all about takedowns. Granted Garcia had a year at the OTC but I doubt that they drilled much mat wrestling during his time there.

Given the margin of loss and relatively anonymity of his opponent, I have a feeling Garcia struggled everywhere and simply isn't ready to contribute yet. Didn't he suffer a big injury while out at the OTC? Pretty sure he didn't get much wrestling in despite going to Colorado Springs...

Yeah he had a bad knee injury his senior year of HS when playing football, then I believe he may have hurt it again at the OTC.

Thank you. I really want to see a Tessari match. The Steibers are amazing, but for some reason I always liked how Tessari wrestled in HS. Don't really know much about Garcia, but I don't like what I read from Snackem. Mat wrestling is key in college, so I hope they really train him there.

Quinn, I still stand by my prediction that Garcia can and will be a multi time AA. I think that he'll grow a LOT this year and quickly as well. Mat wrestling is HUGE in college but without any real college presence (we have two Juco's) in the state it seems that the mat wrestling at the HS level suffers greatly. There have been lots of quality wrestlers to come out of WA lately however, they just need more time than most to adjust to wrestling at the next level. Mangrum had similar issues his freshman year and he was nowhere near the recruit that Garcia was.

I don't agree, I don't think any of those guys beat him 15-2. We'll see though.
