Cael??? He's been there two seasons!!! That's kind of sad for the program. I know they won a team title last season, but still...two seasons is very short to all of a sudden be on Rushmore, especially as a coach.

I have to agree with Zapp on this. What if Cael ends up running the program into the ground in the next 5 years? I don't think he will in fact I see PSU as a title contender for the next couple of years at least, but for all we know he may just be a flash in the pan as a coach and never achieve anything again. With so many incredible wrestlers having come from PSU I would think that there would be some better choices.

    Mizzou: B Askren, M Askren, M Ellis, S Fry

First three are Mizzou's only nat champs & Fry was 2,3

I'd put Jim Martin, Sanshiro Abe, and Kerry McCoy ahead of Cael at this point. There are probably a few others too, but that's just like, my opinion man.

There is deep competition just for the Iowa 125/126 pounder Rushmore. I have Terry Brands, Randy Lewis, Barry Davis, and Matt McDonough on the mountain with Jeff McGinness, Brad Penrith and Mike Mena being tough omissions, and Jody Strittmatter and Charlie Falck being noteworthy themselves.

I wouldn't even put Falck in the conversation. I'd put Whittmer on it before him and he only wrestled on varsity one year.
