Before Kyle Klingman and I get set to broadcast tonight's Minnesota State vs. Upper Iowa dual from here in Mankato, we had a chance to interview Terry Davis, the author of Vision Quest.
Many might be unaware that the movie of the same name was a book initially published 30 years ago.

Davis taught here at Minnesota State for over 20 years and provided some great insight into what went into the book, discussions about the differences from the movie and his own personal involvement in wrestling.

Personally, this was one of the most fulfilling interviews I'd ever been able to take part in. I do hope wrestling fans will take time out to listen to what Terry had to say. A very humble and remarkable man and give it a listen or download it to your iPod.
