The dual meet was an 8-0 MD for ness where he was close to stickingfalck (almost flipped him with the half). They met again in theb10 finals two weeks later and ness majored him again by an even larger margin 12-1.

Two weeks after that they wrestled in the NCAAs and amuch more conservative falck lost 3-0.

I'm not saying ness gets bonuspointsevery time but I think the more falck triesto engage ness the more he's going to tire himself out and the more hes going to lose by. Iowa is known for its brawling straightahead attacking kind of style

If tanner gardner can pin falck do any of you really think that nesscant?

Just to reminisce about the preseason I especially liked this:

    And this one:

It's like you guys are prescient!

Just having a little fun, so hope the Goph fans don't go crazy

Iowa is the team to beat for acouple years at least. The gophs will be young next year to say the least with oft injured CP, Kish, Manny and Mack gone. Brands looks like he is bringing the hawks back to the glory days in a fast and dominate way. Will have to wait and see if Thorn, Sanders, Mincey can step in those lower weights. I hope Ness goes up to 133 so sanders can get on the mat. If not then it will be either thorn or Mariciki going at 133 and who knows at 141. there is alot of question marks for the Gophers. I would think Mason and dietchler will redshirt next year as will Disney,Geiger and Mincey. Iowa looks like they will be awful tough to take down. It will be interesting to see where austin Enoch fits into the mix with the gophers next year. I did not see him on the roster but heard that he was hurt. J Rob will have alot of thinking to do. go Gophers! Maybe the mellmers step in since the gophers have no shot at Iowa next year anyway

Looks like I did give Falck a little too much credit, but hey we can't be perfect all the time.

From Jensen in that same bit I quoted:

By the way, I fully acknowledge and accept that you guys can go back and look up some of the much worse predictions I made. Let's keep the offseason interesting!

Wow, I was talking some pretty big talk before the season started.

Guilty as charged. I can take it as good as I can dish it.

That dual meet with Iowa was still pretty damn close and that was without DS. Then again, there was no Perry either.

I am still a little bit surprised that Rivera lost in that dual.
