Relationship between High School Wrestler's Senior Ranking and NCAA Tournament Place There is a lot of hype about high school kids and how high they are rated.
Perhaps this has already been done. I would be interested to see the correlation between a wrestler's ranking in his senior year and how high he finished at a subsequent NCAA tournament. I'll bet there is some but not a lot.

For example, does Iowa or Oklahoma St. repeatedly have the number one or two ranked recruits? I don't know...
