Even if innocent I can see him leaving to keep publicity from tarnishing the season for his teammates. After the legal dealing is over and he is found innocent he can come back.

While I realize this post was like 8 pages ago, I feel like it reflects on Cael in some ways because he brought Long into the program knowing he was a trouble athlete. Jackson laid out a path for Long to rejoin the wrestling program, and Cael takes him in and puts him on the mat immediately in hopes that it would improve his team. While it worked out and Cael got his title, now his decision might be coming back to bite him.

Yes, Cael brought him in knowing he had a history of problems. Bet he had hopes the kid would be true to his word and fly right.
I can understand Penn State coaching and no comments so far. Wait to see what is true and what is sensationalism before commenting. I bet they make the right decision without throwing him under the bus and totally abandoning the kid. Just like KJ, Cael is one of the good guys and cares about his wrestlers.
