    Default Jacob Schlottke Memorial Fund

    Hey guys,

I've set up a Memorial Fund in Jacob's memory where any funds collected will be sent along to his family. While I (and I'm sure all of you) wish I could do more

The fund is set up as a PayPal account under the email address thewrestlingtalk@gmail.com

Anything you can contribute even if its just $5-10 will be appreciated, and even if you can't contribute any money your thoughts and prayers have been heard and are appreciated just as much if not more.

If anyone would like the code for the account in order to post a Donate button on a separate website, let me know and I'll send it along.
    RIP Jacob Schlottke - 1984-2011

    Hey guys and gals,

I know it's probably been years since I have posted regularly on TWT but I just saw an article about Jacob's death and thought it would only be fitting to come over here to pay my condolences. I will definitely hit up the fund's paypal acct.

It's so sad how many young members of the wrestling community we have lost in recent years.

Thanks to Jacob for everything that he did!

After some time away from the board I was really looking forward to getting caught up on any wrestling information I missed......I was shocked to discover this. My interaction with Jake was limited, but I would agree with everyones previous comments on the other thread. Jake was a great person to interact with on TWT and I was always secretly in awe of Jake based upon his accomplishments here in MN.

I will be sending a donation over and truly appreciate you putting this up as something to do JensenS. In a common era where we focus on athletes in a negative light, it is far more tragic when someone so amazing and so young is lost. My condolences to his family!

It took me awhile to come back here after getting the news about our friend Jacob. It was a shock and surprise to me as I had heard from him during the wrestling season that maybe he was feeling better. I think in hindsight he was being brave and honorable and hiding alot of the pain and fear perhaps that he was going through. I have been on the boards for some time as many of you know. Sometimes I know what I'm talking about, most other times I am just shooting from the hip. Jacob was always supportive of this website and just made it a place that people could gather and talk about wrestling. He was always looking to improve the product and bring others to the site and to wrestling. I will remember him as a very bright, very giving, very laid back and kind "kid" and someone who represented the best in us all. I will miss our conversations my friend and I will miss you too.

    Godspeed.
