Thread: Most Insane Wrestling Move I Have Ever Seen

I use AOL (still) and it was a featured story on their opening page. You can imagine how surprising it was to see wrestling as a feature story on AOL! But, I'm not sure it's a move Coleman can do too many times. If his opponent is looking for it--uh oh!

By the time voting was done the "Flying Squirrel" got 64% of the vote to become the new "Best of the Best" The Robles highlight won that daily head-to-head for a really long stretch I remember seeing. I believe it beat out Wayne Rooney's insade bicycle kick when it first came out. Good publicity for wrestling!!

Ya Coleman practices that move a lot and did once use it on Spencer Mango. He had a 5 point lead when he did it so I think he felt pretty safe.

I've seen him hit it a few other times. I want to say he hit it at Junior Worlds last year, but I could be wrong. I know I've seen him hit it other places though.

He hit it at BTS on Mango last year. He doesn't finish with the throw to the back like he did at Junior Worlds this year, but he goes around at gets the one for a td.

Go to 7:50 in the match, it's there.
    Am I cool now?

It was just on Around the Horn! So cool. Too bad Paige and Jones just talked about fake wrestling the whole time.

The only move that I can think of that compares is the backflip defense to an elevated single leg.

I imagine most of you have seen it on youtube, but I would put the suplay that the West German did to Chris Taylor in the 1972 Olympics in that category. The West German almost looked like a midget next to the 400+ Chris Taylor and he pulls Taylor on top of his neck bridge and pins him. That was pretty insane to me--he could have broken his neck if he didn't hit it right. I remember watching it at the time live on TV and couldn't believe my eyes. Neither could the commentators!

Coleman was losing the round when he hit the "flying squirrel". I've seen a few other guys try it, but not sucessfully.

My favorite move was Kudukhov's clinch defense to win the world title last year:

Khustov's escape to suplex in the Olympic finals was great as well:
