However, don't be fooled that Iowa fans are "all love" with UNI, as they also do a pretty good job of dissing UNI and their athletes, especially during head to head competition (just ask UNI's footbaall coach Mark Farley about how things went the last time they visited Iowa in Iowa City). I've been in the game long enough (as have many on here) to recall the heat that I took for years from Iowa fans for being a Panther fan and supporter, which my support is ALWAYS through thick and thin. For whatever strange reason, that is a foreign concept to many Iowa fans.
With that said, the lineup. The only certain spots right now is Bonin at 157, Wolf at 174, and Loder at 184. As for the rest, we'll see. There's going to be a lot of "figuring" in regard to that, and I suspect that the lineup will change and rotate throughout the year.
Try playing a game against Arizona at home. The PAC 10 is by far the worst fans in NCAA football. In fact, you can go to Youtube and find videos of the type of fans that Arizona has there when they played Iowa and Stoops is a certifiable idiot. I was at that UNI vs Iowa game, and they got the same treatment that any other team gets when they come to Iowa City. In fact, the UNI and Iowa fans were partying together most of the time, so they really probably got treated much better than say a fOSU team coming to town.

Re: UNI Panthers
Ban, I've had Bonin at 165 for a while now. Not a big shock.

That would be interesting to see! Granted, I haven't been around every teams' fans in the country, but it would take some kind of bad fans to top Minnesota and Iowa fans for me!
UNI Panthers...Because it's just right.

What led you to think that he'd be at 165 this year? I've heard nothing about him going back to 165.

Re: UNI Panthers
I have to agree with BB-Bonin seemed small at 157 and the few times I've seen any of his matches he seemed greatly oversized by his opponent-with Onufer at 165 I think it would be prudent to have Bonin @ 157.
You know, I think I would rather be a man than a god . We don't need anyone to believe in us. We just keep going anyhow. It's what we do.

Re: UNI Panthers
Here's a list of UNI's incoming class.
Taylor Berger 165 Fr. Carroll, Iowa (Carroll)
Blaize Cabell 197 Fr. Independence, Iowa (Independence)
Cody Caldwell 174 Fr. Waverly, Iowa (Waverly-Shell Rock)
Joe Colon 133 Jr. Clear Lake, Iowa (Iowa Central)
Chris Halblom 125 Fr. Alburnett, Iowa (Alburnett)
Tanner Hiatt 149 Fr. Kelley, Iowa (Ballard)
Jarrett Jensen 157 Fr. Rapid City, South Dakota
Cody Krumweide 285 Fr. Waverly, Iowa (Waverly-Shell Rock)
Kyle Lux 174 Fr. Toledo, Iowa (South Tama)
Adam Perrin 133 Fr. Eldridge, Iowa (North Scott)
Cody Schurman 165 Fr. Milo, Iowa (Southeast Warren)
Chase Skoneczka 165 Fr. Benton, Iowa (Benton Community)
Ryan Valline 165 Fr. Tama, Iowa (East Marshall)
Lots of Iowa talent there. I see guys like Cabell, Caldwell, Colon, Hiatt, Krumweide and Lux having the ability to make a significant impact on the team. I don't know anything about the kid from South Dakota other than he finished in the top three at the state tournament six times.
