Okay, so we won't have to worry about tempo at Wisconsin. Actually I thought Morningstar was a great Iowa wrestler who just didn't quite fit into the Brands mold. I wish him well.

Good for Ryan! Hopefully he's a good fit at Wisconsin.

Although it is strange, if Howe stays there, he will be coached by someone he was 4-0 during his career against. Not sure if M* is the guy to keep Howe in Madison.

Do you really think it matters for a guy like Howe who is going to being a senior with the success he has had not to stay for 1 more year just because some coaches left?
I can't see the coaches who left or the ones coming in making really any difference for Howe headed into his senior season. I mean the guy has enough experience and skill at this level to succeed with whoever is coaching this team at this point in his career imho.

Good for Ryan. I'll always have a special place in my heart for Morningstar for his improbable run to 3rd place that brought home a title for the Hawkeyes.

I don't remember if it was the first time they wrestled or not but the time at Carver when Morningstar lost in overtime because Howe had seven seconds more riding time was one of the most nailbiting matches I've seen. Barry and Gable got into it on the side of the mat right after. Good match. Wish Ryan would have won. Congrats Ryan. You'll be a great coach up there.
