Life's not the breaths you take, the breathing in and out that gets you through the day ain't what it's all about. It's the moments that take your breath away.

I think anyone who beats McD deserves an Espy personally.

Great news for the sport as a whole, and huge congrats to Robles for a well deserved award.

Awesome! No one deserves this award more than Robles. And I agree with Brother VALovers (tongue in cheek) assessment regarding beating McD as well. The fact that Robles not just beat but dominated a defending national champion and one of the best lightweights in the country in the finals made his story even greater! Congratulation Mr. Robles!

I had the opportunity to speak with Mr. Robles for some time while my son was attending a camp where he was a technician. In addition to being a tremendous wrestler he is an outstanding person as well. He is upbeat and gracious to all who approach him, and takes time for every person who wants a picture, autograph, etc. I came away from the conversations I had with him convinced that he has a great future ahead of him. He is a great example for a young wrestler to follow.
