I don't know how much Spjut and Neibert go, but I would say Neibert handles him with ease. I too thought Carter was a real big 33, but dont know how easily he'd get by Neibert. Neibert is a pretty tough kid who will make some noise next year imo.

You are right about VT's 125 situation if Mitch leaves.

Not that my word will be taken with much merit, but, to back Herkey's point, Meeks has committed to Iowa State.

Ok, I'm a rumor mill, or the Iowa State board is.

The most recent posting has said that Caldwell recieved a release from Wisconsin last week and is looking at Michigan, Oklahoma, Iowa State and UNI. Michigan and Oklahoma for obvious reasons and UNI probably because it's very close to home. His dad used to coach in Ames and I'm not sure if Cody grew up a Cyclone fan or what.

My point still stands. Not his place.

interesting, how close is Mitch to Garnett point wise? Spujt rumored to go 125, cut is huge, don't know how effective he can be after 1 hour weigh-in.

I would think Garnett could still edge Mitch. Mitch didn't have a stellar RS year to suggest otherwise.

I don't see Spjut ever at 125. He's short but his shoulders/chest/legs are massive.

Also hearing some disappointing rumblings that Ty Mitch may be on his way OUT of blacksburg. Don't know where he's going to wind up for sure. That's too bad for VT.
Was told this week that Borlie will wrestle for VT next year...won't be able to go till the 2nd semester though.
