As expected , andrew was heavily recruited. He has said DP was the main reason for accepting Wiscy's offer. He is from Cedar Lake Indiana and if you look on a U.S. map there is a lake dropping between Michigan and Wisconsin-Cedar Lake is just below that lake-REALLY close to Michigan . Also , The Wiscy site went down as losing 2 top asst. coaches is a big deal at a Div. 1 school.Personally ,I look for AH to be a Wolverine in 2012.

then, I"m no longer a AH fan. I was his fan 'cause he was a Badger.........don't care about him if he's a Wolverine. Reminds me of JOey Gilbert, who was a Wolvernine and then became a .....a...what was he anyway???

The kid signed to wrestle for the University, not a specific coach or assistant coach.

I know and you know the real world doesn't follow the NCAA stand on this even tho it is in the agreement they sign. Still, the athletes signed the agreement and are stuck at the school. Perhaps an addendum or clause to the contract allowing a transfer if a coach changes schools? How would it work if the coach dies suddenly? If the coach retires?

If they kid wanted to follow a specific coach and he was your teams top wrestler, would you let him do it? To a rival school? The Mocco situation is a bit different. Steve had an agreement he could transfer if he wanted... Before he attended Iowa. When he asked Iowa coaches honored the agreement. This kid has no agreement that we are aware of.

As nearly every knows ( at least on this site ) a verbal agreement is pretty much worthless -I HOPE andrew stays at Wiscy because he signed a CONTRACT and as a man he should honor said contract-as for the guys who have pledged ,not signed , they should be free to go elsewhere if they choose.
I don't understand why everyone says Wiscy is expecting a down year ? IF Howe, Rutt and Graff all take an Oly RS then yea-otherwise they have 4-5 legit AA candidates .
