good stuff... I would like to see Mack Reiter go out with a championship. I would like to see Minnesota finish a second back to back NCAA Championship. I would like to see Iowa return to prominance starting this year but not necessarily peaking until next year! I would like to see the heavyweight division surprise us all and become an 8-10 person horse race with a gifted athlete winning in dramatic fashion at the end. I want to see Missouri to continue being a force in the individual and team championships. I want to see a third National Duals come down to the heavyweight match as it has in the last three years. I want to see more diversified posters coming here from other websites to continue growing the site and adding value to the conversations.

Sold-out attendance at all major events. My Fighting Scots with another top 10 finish No programs to be dropped this year, and gaining a few back...

[QUOTE=goferphan;15852]good stuff... I would like to see Mack Reiter go out with a championship. I would like to see Iowa return to prominance starting this year but not necessarily peaking until next year! I want to see Missouri to continue being a force in the individual and team championships. QUOTE] As far as Reiter goes, that makes two of us. I think Iowa is on it's way. I'll be honest. I'm spilt on my feelings. I think the world of Tom Brands, Dan Gable and the Iowa program. Love seeing the Hawks do well. Yet, when the Hawks stopped winning the National Championship every year, that was one of the best things to happen to collegiate wrestling. Wrestling fan base has grown. The popularity of our sport, is growing more and more every year. I think the diversity of having teams contend for the title, rather than just wait for Iowa to win it, is generating interest. There are so many teams now steppin it up and becoming competitive. Minnesota, Iowa State, Oklahoma State, the familar teams and Hofstra, Missouri, Lehigh, Cornell, Northwestern, the non familar teams. I want to see the Hawks of golden yesterday back again too, but I hope it doesn't stop the growth of other teams, and the popularity of wrestling nation wide. There's no reason why Missouri can't, as far as that's concerned. 125 - Sophomore Jon Olanowski - He had a few key wins last year and only being a sophomore, I see him steppin it up and improving. 133- Senior Tyler McCormick - He beat our main man Reiter last year for a spot on the AA Stand, and he's beaten Scott of Okie State. The only trouble he really seemed to have last year was Simmons and Vasquez and they're both gone. I'd personally pick him as the finals opponent for Reiter, if I were a bettin man. 141 - Sophomore Ashtin Primus - Much like Olanowski, he had some key wins last year, and should be much improved. 149 - Senior Josh Wagner - His highlight last season was beating a very injured Matt Storniolo. It would have been more impressive, had Storniolo been at top health, but never the less it's a big win. Wagner, could break through this year. 157 - Junior Michael Chandler - Has the ability to beat anyone at his weight class. Seems to have too much of a roller coaster career though. The key with this guy is consistancy. He achieves that, through luck or whatever, I see him being a force to be reckoned with. 165 - Huge loss in Matt Pell, the Tigers will have a hard time replacing him. 174 - Even a huger loss in Ben Askren, The Tigers will have one hell of a time replacing him. 184 - Junior Raymond Jordan - The only thing standing in this guys way is a case of bad luck. If bad luck leaves him alone this season, then I wouldn't be surprised to see him do very well. A national championship, in my opinion, is not out of the question. 197 - Sophomore Max Askren - He's been there now, he's done that. Dissapointment sucks, but he was only a freshman and he's got 3 more years to prove himself, which he will. I think he's the type to realize he wasn't a senior, and if he goes out and kicks butt for the next three years, people are going to remember that over not placing as a freshman. HWT - Never has been a strong weight for Missouri. Probably won't be this year either.

Here's what I see 133 - Junior Ricky Duebel could make some noise. 149/157- Junior Gregor Gillispie will make some noise Anyone else? I hear you on the programs being dropped. It bothers me more than it should I guess. Fresno State two years ago, Eastern Illinois and Oregon this year. Man that sucks. When are we going to hear that wrestling is back at Syracuse and Colorado State where it belongs?

JT1- Edinboro is still returning 6 NCAA Qualifiers. Yes they lost Clemsen, Hill, Penn, and Gibson... but they still have some power, and they are young! I think they will have some weight class changes this year, which will help them out. Coccozzo should have a much better time, hopefully things will click with Deubel this year, Gillespie looking for another title, Jarrod King in as a transfer as long as he stays healthy. Phil Moricone, Pat Bradshaw, Joe Fendone all returning as well along with Jeremy Mosley. I think they will fill the holes in the line-up well.
