If they have some talent to put into 141 and 149 they could have a fairly formidable lineup. And a young one too.

Be surprised if Paddock wasn't 41. Or he goes 33 and Stieber takes an Oly shirt.

Not to pull an Ryou, but Stieber isn't eligible for an Olympic shirt.

Paddock seems like he'd be the best option at 141 unless they decide to finally give him a redshirt and they use big little Stieber, or Tessari there.

I think at 141 you'll see either Paddock or Tessari. The other redshirts, and they switch the next year. It doesn't matter to me which one starts which year. Tessari is new to college wrestling, but Paddock has been beaten up for a while and I'd like to see him get a year to heal up. They are looking at a log jam around this weight in the coming years anyway, so both will need to redshirt IMO.

At 149, I think there are probably a lot of guys vying for the spot: Mike Fee, Randy Languis, Joe Grandominico, Jared Kusar, and Hunter Stieber. Stieber is by far the biggest name there, but I am desperately hoping he redshirts, because I think he needs to spend the year growing into his body.

    What really impresses me are
    157: Josh Demas (Fr.)
    165: Derek Garcia (Fr.)
    174: Nick Heflin (So.)
    184: Kenny Courts (Fr).
    197: Andrew Campolattano (Fr.)
No idea who else may be laying around fighting for a spot but that could be a fairly formidable lineup if those guys continue to develop.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Garcia end up at 74 eventually either. I'm not sure how much he has grown but I know his senior year of HS he wrestled at 171 (though I'm pretty sure he was walking around close to 165 or so) and absolutely laid waste to the entire class. No one was even close to him in Washington.

I fully expect Courts to redshirt this year, Snackem. It just doesn't make sense for him to start; I don't think he'd do much better than Magrum and 84 is a ridiculously loaded weight. No sense throwing him to the wolves as a true frosh if you don't have to.

But yeah, they are very young and talented. The same is true at the lower weights.

    Worst avatar to date.

I think Courts needs a year too.
