I'm just saying. They had 4 AA's that year (Griffin, Strouse, Patrovich, Weidman) and outplaced the Brands and Gable coached Hawkeyes. In my opinion thats them giving a pretty good account of themselves in the tournament format.
I guess my real point was I don't think the Hofstra team is a particularly apt comparison for this year's Lehigh team. I don't see 4 AA's for them, and that Hofstra team had two other guys (Tomasette, Lucas) that had shots at the podium too.
I threw the Iowa mention in there just as a gratuitous pot shot.
They finished 7th as a team. I could easily see the Lehigh team matching that placement at NCAA's.
Jacob Schlottke---Gone too soon, and the world is a little less bright because of it. RIP, brother.
One, two, Evans is coming for you...
They are a young team. Only 1 senior and four freshman most of the others are sophomores. They've been looking great a a dual meet team. Can't match the credentials of the teams they defeat. Given time and experience they'll turn out some AA's. Craig's timing was unfortunate. He should have redshirted his first year. It was a rebuilding year anyway. And Grey and Flynn crapped out on them. I have great hopes for the future of Lehigh.

Great match, great bouts, a lot of fun to watch, particularly if you're a Lehigh fan
