If I were to ever do drugs, the only upside would be to finally understand any of your posts.

Back to the original thread topic. I think Cael's return bid to try to make the olympic team will ultimately help PSU. He's got a great set of coaches working with him. He'll still be around--no way he needs to go anywhere else to train with the guys that are in the NLWC. There is a certain energy and attitude in the PSU wrestling room from what I gather and his comeback bid will probably only feed that. Many of the current PSU wrestlers have olympic aspirations and this should only stoke their fires more. The flip-side--will it detract from his olympic prepartions? It's possible. He's close with his wrestlers and will certainly be heavily involved with them while he's training and coaching, which could be a distraction. But he's so focused in general, that I think he can handle both. We'll see.

Can't agree with all you say. In the long run yes, it will help IF he wins. Short run, not so sure. It's still a distraction and a change of focus.

You could be right--you could certainly argue it both ways. Incidentally I see that we both signed on with TWT the same month. Which team do you follow?

I am a proud Alumni of the University of Iowa, wrestled in high school and am now retired in Central Virginia. (Loving Virginia, it's a great place without endless winter)

yeah, what was I thinking? It's not as if he's Cael Sanderson or anything.

Let's see what Caels doing when he's 43. Terry won Olympic Bronze at 31.
