Default Any dietary supplements that are Legal . ?

I saw that theres a list of banned drugs for NCAA athletes . I saw somewhere that creatine was legal but are there any other supplements that are legal . ? I was thinking like whey protein...

The vast majority of dietary supplements are legal and allowed by the NCAA, this includes whey protein.

whey protein is basically food. It would be like banning steak.

Oh ok . Because I saw things like how HGH (human growth hormone) supplements were banned . I was also considering Nitric Oxide .

Why? Do you have money burning a hole in your pocket?

About 3 minutes of internet searches would reveal the massive difference between HGH and whey protein, lol.

Nitric Oxide isn't terribly expensive, and used properly can really help you get out a few more reps for each lift. Don't know your age/background, so i'm not going to say across the board it's appropriate, but I'm 26 and have used it before with decent results. It's not an end all be all or make or break, but it has its value.

I'm 19 and stuck on my benchpress max . I've tried to go over it twice but couldn't . I was thinking NO or something could help me increase my max by at least 5 lbs .

Change your workout. Nitric Oxide isn't going to help if you don't have a good routine. You need to mix up your sets/reps. Hit some different auxillary lifts as well.

Well I don't do the same routine everyday . I usually do 3 different powerlifts and then i just do some circuit weight training on the machines in the gym (leg crunches, leg extensions, shoulder press, etc .) The powerlifts are one per day then the circuits are one per day for two days then i repeat . Sometimes I take one or two days off . Sometimes I just continue the cycle . Should I change something . ? I also run on the treadmill everytime I go to the gym . I do about a mile and a half after I'm done lifing . I do it last because I need the energy to lift weights .
