Maybe I should have said "scrambly" rather than "funky". Lanky dudes always seem to look a little funky to me, although I'm not trying to compare him to someone like Askren.

Agreed on all counts, I think Scrambly is a better adjective. Jensen, I'm sad that DSJ will not be at 157, but I am also sad for all the poor 157's that will have to suffer the Wrath of Mike Kelly. It will be a bloodbath in the Big 10.

Mike went 25-5 between 157 and 165 last year, 18-2 @ 157. Two of those losses came to Nick Moore the others were to Spangler, Patacsil and Sulzer. He recorded wins against RaVaughn Perkins, David Bonin and Nick Moore. Not too bad for a RS year.

If he breaks the lineup this year, I think he will be solid for us. I'm not ready to call him an AA just yet but I wouldnt be suprised if it did happen. I also wouldnt be suprised if Nick Moore gets the spot. Both are good and will be solid wrestlers for Iowa.
Herkey, what "Iowa" site were you refering too. I am always interested in finding new wrestling sites. Please reply with a link, thanks, cpeake

It is a great site. Alot of Hawkeye colored blinders, but also alot of very knowledgeable people. It's arguably the busiest wrestling forum. A couple of the guys are "insiders" and bring some good info. It's my favorite of all Hawkeye sites. I still like TWT better though. Usually I just read there. I like to participate more here.

I love hawkeye report. A few morons, but you can get some great info.

Like Herkey said its just some fun that I have with Iowa fans, the way some were talking he was a national championship contender if he could have made 149 last year.

He's obviously a very talented wrestler and I'm sure he's a good kid.
