InterMat - InterMat releases 2011 recruiting class rankings

Ohio State's haul of Stieber, Campolattano, Courts, Tessari, and DiJulius puts them at the top of the rankings as a very deserved #1.

    Nebraska was #2

Nebraska getting Caldwell puts them at 1 in my mind, but a case can be made for either.

The rankings don't account for Derek Garcia, who wasn't included in last year's rankings either: InterMat - In-depth analysis of Top 25 recruiting classes for 2010

I'm not sure why both Intermat and theopenmat left him out both years.

    25 Indiana (LY: 12th)
    #7-Eric Roach (IN), 149
    #11-Lucas Sheridan (CA), 184
    Garret Goldman (IN), 197
    Clay Chaberski (IN), HWT
    Class Overview:
Roach was a 2x state champion in three finals appearances. He placed 4th at both NHSCA?s and Super32 and won FloNats after his JR season.
Sheridan had multiple high state placings. He is particularly impressive in GR, winning a Fargo title in that style last year. This spring he placed 3rd at Sr. Nationals.
Goldman, the son of Hoosier front-man, Duane, surprised many with a terrific run at to the state title beating two nationally ranked kids in the process.
    Chaberski was a state runner-up.
IU signed about 10 more kids but Chalfant from Harper College, Roach from Crown Point and Sheridan from CA. are the only true studs. I have NO idea who will wrestle 174 or 184 next year.

184 in the big 10 is going to be hellacious once again .Actually, 184,197,285 may be the deepest weight classes.
