DHEA is not appropriate for people under 40.(me)

Cheaper in terms of supplements often equates to crap but I understand what Russ is saying about DHEA. I never tried it. I was getting HGH from a MD down in Costa Rico who was making it himself. A lot of his clients were wealthy Americans (he was actually American) who flew down for injections. I was taking an oral one. They are both Master Hormones. Hormones are truly amazing substances as is the entire endocrine system, which actually does a lot more to regulate the body then the brain ever does.

Wow, I don't think that the original intent of this thread has been maintained. Maybe you guys should go back to the top and read what wrote. I was outraged at Lance not interested in promoting the use of supplements or steroids. Yes, I understand the difference between a supplement and a banned substance - but from these posts it sounds like the hope that anyone would ever refrain from abusing drugs in any way - rather to increase their performance or just because they imagine they have an illness -is just a huge boon to the pharma companies. No wonder the evening news is nothing but drug commercials. You guys will take any crap that crosses your path. How do I as a coach to kids tell them to NOT use drugs when every one - EVERY one - is cheating in one way or another?

This thread has stayed on topic about as well as any thread you'll find. I don't see how this thread has lead you to believe that everyone cheats, but whatever. You're coming off a bit whiney here.

I've been reading this thread too and it sounds like you guys are condoning the use of steroids and HGH. What's wrong with just wrestling and working out using legal supplements? I look up to and admire what Lance has done with his cycling, but if it comes out that he had to cheat to do it then F*ck him. I don't care if the rest of the tour was doing it as well...It is against the rules.

This is the reason I don't really follow baseball much anymore. Sammy Sosa was the most exciting baseball player I ever watched. (I'm a big Cubs fan) But now, to know that what I saw was all fabricated with steroids and cork, pisses me off.

Juicing and HGH is for pussies and has no place in sports. I'd rather go back to my home town and watch the high school team than watch a bunch of fake strength and endurance.

Other than Russ: who condoned steroid/HGH use for wrestlers competing?

The only thing that differentiates legal from illegal substances is an arbitrary line drawn by legislators who next to nothing about the issue.

    Pretty close to true.

This is going to sound horrible to the politically correct. But I really don't care who is or has juiced. If juicing is why Jordan Burroughs can hit those explosive double legs, so what. I want to see those double legs. I want to see a guy hit a 700ft homerun. I want to see Usain Bolt beat a horse in the 100m dash.

The way I figure it, these guys are all adults and making a choice just like smoking. It may kill them one day, but they should be free to make the choice. If you can't see, you get glasses. If your superduck lacks explosion, take steroids.
