I think American is a good job for someone maybe Trenge he has said he wants to coach.
What is Americans scholarship situation? Are they fully funded? I know that, for a while Cody was out raising money on his own. Would the new coach still be doing that? If so, I don't see the program being around much longer. It takes a rare breed to do what Mark was doing there. If that's no longer an issue I would think a guy like Bono could go out there and do well.

I think it takes a pretty specific type of person to coach at these rigorously academic schools. I think it can take more than just a good coach to make it work at these places. That's why I don't think Bono would be a good fit.
Also, there is mention of Stutzman from Bloomsburg heading there. Is that really an advancement in program? Yes, AU has had more success, but that to me is a product of Cody being great than American being a hotbed for talent. I think Stutzman has just as good a situation at BU. Correct me if I'm wrong about any of this.
I'm thinking Glenn will head up at American and Fittery mentioned he wanted to coach so I could see him there helping right away.
