Had issues pushing off his leg when he'd get in on his shots too.

While its still fashionable for some people to try and pile on Howe for a supposed lack of offense, over the second half of last season and this season until he got hurt it really hadn't been the case at all.

Nice win for Howe over Sponseller in the 3rd place match. Colt was 0-4 or 0-5 against Howe throughout his career.

It was a shame to see him gas in such an important match.

I think Howe's leg was affecting him about as much as the conditioning was. In the match with Caldwell it almost felt painful just watching Howe try to chase him down. JensenS is right though, Howe hasn't consistently had issues putting up points since early last year (until his injury, obviously).

It took a set of brass 'nads to come back after his injury.....a torn hammy that folks close to the program thought was season ending...........and take the Big 10 and 3rd at the NCAAs.
It just made me more of a Howe fan.

Howe is a warrior, needs to get better on both top & bottom for College rules....Probably a slightly better freestyle wrestler, but a stud in both.

So when do you think we'll see Howe on the NCAA mats again? Will it he RS? Olympic RS and then RS? Or will he be back next year?
