Mark Cody = Coach of the Year regardless what team wins the tourney.

    Very exciting matchups coming up!

The upside of Rasing losing, I only have to watch Zack Rey wrestle at HWT.
Jacob Schlottke---Gone too soon, and the world is a little less bright because of it. RIP, brother.

One, two, Evans is coming for you...

Should be an absolutely great night of wrestling, I can't wait. I posted this on the other thread but it was probably in the wrong place. Anyway, if I had to re-draw my brackets again, I'd take Fittery over Taylor now. It will be an interesting style matchup, but Fitt has impressed me as much as anyone thus far.

    Semi's Match Ups

    125
#1 Anthony Robles (Arizona State) v. US Ben Kjar (Utah Valley)
#2 Matt McDonough (Iowa) v. #3 Brandon Precin (Northwestern)

    133
#1 Jordan Oliver (Oklahoma State) v. #4 Tyler Graff (Wisconsin)
#2 Andrew Hochstrasser v. #3 Andrew Long (Penn State)
Both will be very close. My head is telling me to take Long after the morning that the NW has had but I can't bet against Hoch.

    141
#1 Kellen Russell (Michigan) v. #5 Montell Marion (Iowa)
#2 Mike Thorn (Minnesota) v. #3 Boris Novachkov (Cal Poly)

    149
#4 Kyle Dake (Cornell) v. #8 Ganbayar Sanjaa (American)
#2 Frank Molinaro (Penn State) v. #6 Jason Chamberlain (Boise State)
Probably a stupid pick here since Frank has been looking pretty good but I think that Chamberlain pulls it out.

    157
#4 Bubba Jenkins (Arizona State) v. #8 Jason Welch (Northwestern)
#2 Steve Fittery (American) v. #3 David Taylor (Penn State)
I haven't seen much of him wrestling at the NCAAs but with as many Lung TOs as he took at the Pac 10's I can't imagine that he'll be able to last the full 7 min. I can't wait to see Fittery Vs. Taylor. I hope that it lives up to the billing that it has received so far.

    165
#1 Jordan Burroughs (Nebraska) v. #5 Colt Sponseller (Ohio State)
#2 Andrew Howe (Wisconsin) v. #3 Tyler Caldwell (Oklahoma)
I said all summer long that I didn't think that Burroughs would be a finalist let alone a national champ this year after the injury, I thought that he'd lose a half step of speed and that would cost him a lot. Guess I don't know as much as I thought (and I didn't think that I knew that much). I don't see Howe losing this match, Caldwell gave Burroughs a tight match but I think that Howe is in control most of the match to earn an exciting 3-2 type victory.

    174
#1 Jon Reader (Iowa State) v. #5 Chris Henrich (Virginia)
#3 Mack Lewnes (Cornell) v. #7 Nick Amuchastegui (Stanford)
I had Covington beating Henrich and that didn't happen, but I also had Covington beating Reader so I'll stick with the guy that knocked out my pick for a national champ to make the finals. I'd love to see Henrich meet up with a Pac 10 guy in the finals. I think that AMU could very well beat Lewness if he keeps the pace slow and lulls Lewness to sleep a bit.

    184
#9 Quentin Wright (Penn State) v. #12 Grant Gambrall (Iowa)
#2 Robert Hamlin (Lehigh) v. #3 Steve Bosak (Cornell)
Absolutely no reason for picking either of those two other than the fact that I'd like to see the team race tighten up a bit and have it go back to a 3 team race.

    197
#1 Cam Simaz (Cornell) v. #4 Dustin Kilgore (Kent State)
#2 Clayton Foster (Oklahoma State) v. #3 Trevor Brandvold (Wisconsin)
Kilgor Vs Foster would really be a good contrast in styles in the finals.

    285
#1 Zach Rey (Lehigh) v. #5 Dom Bradley (Missouri)
#2 Jarod Trice (Central Michigan) v. #3 Ryan Flores (American)

    Round of 12 Match Ups

    125
#4 James Nicholson (Old Dominion) v. #6 Nic Bedelyon (Kent State)
#7 Ryan Mango (Stanford) v. US Trent Sprenkle (North Dakota State)
#8 Jarrod Patterson (Oklahoma) v. US Sean Boyle (Michigan)
#5 Zach Sanders (Minnesota) v. US Matt Snyder (Virginia)

    133

#7 BJ Futrell (Illinois) v. #9 Devin Carter (Virginia Tech)
#8 Mike Grey (Cornell) v. US Flint Ray (Utah Valley)
#5 Lou Ruggirello (Hofstra) v. #6 Tony Ramos (Iowa)

    141
#6 Andrew Alton (Penn State) v. #12 Zack Kemmerer (Penn)
#10 Todd Schavrien (Missouri) v. US Michael Mangrum (Oregon State)
#8 Zack Bailey (Oklahoma) v. US Stephen Dutton (Lehigh)
#4 Jimmy Kennedy (Illinois) v. #11 Matt Mariacher (American)

    149
#3 Kevin LeValley (Bucknell) v. US Torsten Gillespie (Edinboro)
#7 Mario Mason (Rutgers) v. #11 Andrew Nadhir (Northwestern)

If Penn State can't get some more points out of Ruth and Wade, I see them finishing behind both Iowa and Cornell. Exciting team race!

The 141 matchups are just about complete tossups at this point; Russell hasn't looked very good winning the squeakers. 149 is also more wide open that I thought it would be, both Sanjaa and Chamberlain are capable of moving into the finals.

I picked Q-Dub to win 184, assuming that he'd have his head on straight. He's looked good to this point, and it would be quite a story if he keeps on winning.

Gotta go to my daughter's parent/teacher conference soon, but The Nuts will be locked and loaded by 4:00. Hopefully I won't have to lock my wife and kids in the closet (again). I hate when it comes to that.

Thanks JensenS for putting this out. This is a great help in following the results and pairings!
Wow, Snackem--I see you pick PSU to lose all 7 matches tonight. I hope you're not a great forecaster!
