Regardless, the odds of guys like Long, Molinaro, Taylor, and Ruth remaking the finals at NCAA's are much better than the odds of St. John, Lofthouse, and Rasing making the finals or Jannsen and Lofthouse both placing 3rd again.

"Whoever" here, It was Ramos, Lofthouse and Raising (with in i) finishing 3rd.

At nationals you can have more favorable matchups though, where another guy you can beat takes out someone you can't. In a smaller tournament that is less likely.

Based on accomplishments, you need to add Bobby Douglas. Only coach to have a NCAA championsip outside the Big10/Big5, also coached the gretest collegiate wrestler ever.

I really could see Iowa having a couple guys perform where they are seeded and/or where some of us expect them to finish ( i.e. McD winning it all, Marion finishing anywhere from 1-3, St. John placing above 5) and having someone really crack in there and push them ahead wether it be Marion making the finals or Ramos or St. John wrestling back really tough to 3rd.
