The problem with this hypothesis is that NCAA's is a tougher tournament.

I'll take the five guys who won Big 10's for Penn State to outperform the eight guys who couldn't make the finals at a weaker tournament for Iowa.

Iowa won't have five in the finals like I predicted last year, but neither will State Pen.

The spread will be about 2.5-3.5 between 1st & 2nd & maybe even 3rd.
Remember PSU tied Cornell on the last bout at the Southern Scuffle & won by one point @ the B10s on the last match. I thinking that a TRIFECTA is in order. Everything being decided in the last few bouts making it the closest NCAAs ever. Good 4 the sport not anyone's egos....

This will be a tight team race. I filled out my brackets last night and Iowa has some brutal draws, and PSU doesnt. Plain and simple with the way each bracket is going to play out. Cornell I dont have winning it either based on their placings, but it will be close. All in all, I have Iowa with 6 AAs, and that wont be enough to win it.

As much as it pains me to do, I did have PSU winning it. It will confirm the fact that recruiting can win titles.

The Big tens might be a tougher tournament. The weight classes are more concentrated with top quality wrestlers. Not many easy paths like there could be at NCAA's. This is just a theory. I'd have to do more research to support this position and maybe I'd prove myself wrong.
