    Default Mack Lewnes

Macks got some tough compitition to win his first National title his last year. If Mack falls short and doesnt win wow has there ever been someone with his record 146-10 and the level he has wrestled at to not win at least one title ? I am rooting for him i am picking Reader and Lewnes in the final. Mack will beat Ruth to get to the finals .

That has to be one of, if not the best recorde ever, for someone without a title. Hope this is the year,

107-7 prior to his senior year. Not sure if he took any losses prior to the finals that year or not.

    What about Trenge?
There's no such thing as a pretty good aligator wrestler.

I'm pretty sure trenge had more than 10.

This is actually something I plan on looking at (whether Lewnes wins or loses) as a little bit of a project after NCAA's.

How about the fact that Lewnes hadn't lost a regular season match since his FRESHMAN year? And I believe he hadn't given up a takedown in the regular season since his sophomore year. If anything this is his least deserving year. He's been the #1 seed the past two years.

So Jaggers "deserved" the title less than the people who beat him during the regular season, despite winning almost all of his matches handily at those NCAA's? The best wrestler at NCAAs deserves to win the title, not the regular season champ, so if Lewnes is the best prepared for NCAAs then he will win. Maybe dropping a couple regular season matches took some of the pressure off and helped him realize what he needs to improve to win the title.
