    Default Vaisforlovers 2011 NCAA Predictions

    125

    1. Matt McDonough
    2. Anthony Robles
    3. Brandon Precin
    4. James Nicholson
    5. Jarrod Garnett(Homer, what!?)
    6. Zach Sanders
    7. Jon Morrison(Homer, again)
    8. Alan Waters

R12 Zach Sanders v. Nic Bedelyon. Jarrod Patterson v. Alan Waters. Jason Lara v. Jon Morrison. Matt Snyder v. Jarrod Garnett

A few things can make these way way off. I like Garnetts draw and I see him beating Pataky and Sanders, losing to Nicholson and beating Lara then Morrison.

I'm just being hopeful McD gets by Precin again to play spoiler to the super special Robles story. No hawkeye will be more villified than Matt on that stage.

    3. Andrew Long
    4. Tony Ramos
    5. Tyler Graff
    6. Devin Carter
    7. Mike Grey
    8. Lou Ruggirello

R12- Kyle Hutter v. Andrew Long. Mike Grey v. BJ Futrell. Rollie Peterkin v. Devin Carter. David Thorn v. Lou Ruggirello.

I picked Ramos to get by Long again. Not all that sold on Hoch making finals but if Ramos beats Long, then I don't see any way it doesn't happen. Grey v. Carter real early and that one could really turn things against my predictions.
Carter getting 6th would be great but he'll have to beat Mike Grey, Rollie Peterkin and Lou Ruggirello to do it. I just think he's better than those guys.

I've said all year JO is the dude, and I'm not changing that now. I think he beats the brakes off of Graff.

    1. Kellen Russell

    3. Jimmy Kennedy
    4. Montell Marion
    5. Mike Thorn
    6. Andrew Alton
    7. Tyler Nauman
    8. Todd Schavrien

R12- Jon Kohler v. Andrew Alton. Cody Cleveland v. Todd Schavrien. Tyler Nauman v. Zach Bailey. Matt Mariarcher v. Jimmy Kennedy

This was a mess and I have no idea how close I'll be. I picked Montell to beat Kennedy in quarters then lose to him in the 3/4th match. Picking Schavrien to beat Bailey so we'll see how that one goes.

I'm not sold AT ALL on Russell winning but I just don't see anyone beating him. The loser of The bottom Semi I dont see getting better than 5th.

I hate you for ruining my Kohler R12 pick, still not done with 141 but I have him in the same spot that you do.

    1. Darrion Caldwell
    2. Kevin Levalley
    3. Kyle Dake
    4. Mario Mason!!
    5. Frank Molinaro
    6. Jamal Parks
    7. Jason Chamberlain
    8. Ganbayar Sanjaa(HELLO CLOWNS!)

R12- Brian Stephens v. Jason Chamberlain. Donnie Vinson v. Frank Molinaro. Kurt Kinser v. Ganbayar Sanjaa. Cole Schmitt v. Jamal Parks

I have Mason beating Molinaro again and losing to Levalley. Dake v. DC looks inevitable. I dont like the Parks v. Dake matchup. Parks has no tank and sucks from bottom. Could be way off about Mason getting to the semis and wouldnt be surprised if that was wrong. Had a hard time picking Levalley to the Finals but when I picked Mason to win it was pretty easy.

We'll see about DC. He's been my pick all year, and though I really don't expect it. I don't want to pick against him.

    1. David Taylor
    2. Adam Hall(sigh, I dont really believe it)
    3. Steve Fittery
    4. Derek St. John
    5. Jesse Dong
    6. Bubba Jenkins
    7. Jason Welch
    8. Bryce Saddoris

R12. Paul Young v. DSJ. James Fleming v. Bryce Saddoris. Daryl Cocozzo v. Jason Welch. Peppelman v. Bubba Jenkins.

I have Dong pulling the upset against Bubba and losing to Hall.

A few matches I could see going to the contrary: Welch over Hall . Fleming over Welch . Dong over Hall in Semis.
I think DT is far better on the feet than Fittery. Almost called DSJ over Fittery.

I could really see Bubba defaulting out if he doesnt make the finals.

    3. Josh Asper
    4. Tyler Caldwell
    5. Aaron Janssen
    6. Colt Sponseller
    7. Scott Winston
    8. Justin Kerber

R12- Cody Yohn v. Tyler Caldwell. Justin Kerber v. Shane Onufer. Zach Toal v. Scott Winston. Dallas Bailey v. Josh Asper.

I had a hard time not picking Janssen to get Caldwell, but Caldwell is a match manager and I don't see Janssen getting the TD.
I like Howe to hold up and make the finals.

    1. Ed Ruth
    2. Jon Reader
    3. Mack Lewnes
    4. Colby Covington
    5. Mike Letts
    6. Ethen Lofthouse
    7. Chris Henrich
    8. Ben Bennett

R12- Mike Benefiel v. Ben Bennett. Ethen Lofthouse v. Nick Amuchastegui. Nick Heflin v. Mike Letts. Austin Meys v. Chris Henrich.

I think Ruth brings it just to the level he thinks he needs to and not a notch further. I think he's guns a blazin this tournament and does similar work to Lewnes.

There are a few guys I could see crashing the finals: Co Co, Henrich, Letts, Lewnes all have good chances if you ask me. Almost pulled the trigger on Co Co v. Reader but didn't.

I hope Ethen does a little better than I predicted and he certainly could.

Zapp said it'd be better if Ethen Lost to Letts, but I disagree, I see his road much more simple if he beats Letts in the quarters and loses to Reader.
