There's a difference between a tough draw and an unfair one. Dake got screwed with his 4 seed, I could understand Cornell fans complaining about that. Cam Wade was a really tough draw for him, but it's his own fault. He started the Big 10 tourney as the one seed, and if he held it, was probably looking at a 4 or 5 in the NCAA's. So tough draw, but not unfair. I don't like seeing Taylor and StJ having to bang once again.
I wonder if Iowa fans would have liked to see him seeded lower so he could have gone through one of the other top 3 and met Taylor in the Semi's or finals. An 8 seed and he could have Jenkins in the Quarters (if Jenkins made it that far).

As an 8th seed he would have gotten Hall in the quarters.

I agree that there is a difference in a tough draw and getting a bad seed that's below what you should have. Dake getting the 4 instead of the 3, McD getting the 2 instead of the 1 both in my mind were screwed. Guys like St. John and others that people are calling out as getting seeded below what they should have or that got screwed, they are looking through their fan googles.

As much as you'd like to believe hawk fans are complaining, I think you're trying to create a scenario that's not there.

KR if you could provide some sort of statistical breakdown I think they are needed now more than ever.
Stats? Sure...your sarcasm has reached new unfathomable heights....

Not my style at all. I just think the Hawks fans are being whiners while I also don't believe the actual wrestlers are that worried about bad match-ups.

I would not be surprised if evey Hawkeyes wrestler right now are confident enough that they have the same attitude Brandon Slay had when he drew B. Satiev in his elimination pool. He wasn't woried about who he was going to wrstle becasue he knew Satiev got the bad draw.

I don't think Iowa has the talent to win it and I will be rooting against them, but after their performances at the end of this year I would nto be surprised if they did.

And then if I said "everyone who faces Iowa has the bad draw!" I'd be accused of being a blind homer. Iowa fans really can't win with some people.
