I think PSU did get a few better match-ups than Cornell, which helps a bit. However Cornell has more NCAA experience with their wresters compared to PSU which should help Cornell. I still would have Cornell as the favorite. If Pataky was at full strength (which he isn't) I might change that. I only figured on Iowa for 3rd anyway and some of their draws look to make it tougher to move up IMO. Still, at the NCAA's anything can (and does) happen. Trying to pick a winner by looking at the seedings and the draws is sort of like what a famous general once said about battle plans, "they're great for the first 15 minutes". But, it's fun to speculate all the same!

How many qualifers are there per team? Is there a break down anywhere?

Seeds or no, Iowa knows how to pile up bonus points and that may well be the difference.

wrestle backs wrestle backs wrestle backs. That's what it comes down to. Brands said it in an interview on here somewhere, if you go 5 for 5 in the wrestle backs thats how you improve and finish the best you can as an individual and as a team, if you go 4 and 1 or 3 and 2 that's not doing your job and that's not going to get the job done. That's why Iowa lost the Big Ten (Marion winning for 3rd?) and that is why Iowa will get every single bonus point possible and that is why Iowa will wrestle back like nobody's business.
