I perfectly understand what you mean from top to bottom. If I have my stats correct Robles has wrestled 6 wrestlers rated in the top 10. Of those 6 NONE of them are in the top 4 and 1 is rated 5th. McD has wrestled 6 wrestlers in the top 10. Of those 6 he has wrestled 4 guys in the top 5. So I don't understand how you say from top to bottom Robles has wrestled a tougher schedule!

Would you expect McD to go undefeated against Robles' schedule? Yes. Would you expect Robles to go undefeated against McDonough's schedule? Maybe, maybe not.

I'm really not interested in hypotheticals.

The fact remains that regardless of what we do or don't "expect" Robles did go undefeated, and McDonough didn't.

If you take the fifteen best wins that McDonough and Robles have combined for this year Robles has ten of them, McDonough as five.

The real question: Would Brandon Precin, if wrestling Arizona States schedule, but wrestling for Northwestern while still competing at midlands go undefeated?

I hope that very question is raised at the seeding meeting.

I like to deal with facts and the facts are McD has wrestled tougher competition this year than Robles!

You can't say Robles has wrestled a tougher schedule, tougher tournaments as a whole yes, tougher guys no. McD has the quality wins over Top 5 ranked guys that Robles doesn't, it's as simple as that. That is why McD deserves the #1 seed over Robles.

It isn't a "fact", its your opinion.

And no matter how many exclamation points you use in your posts its still going to be your opinion.

Just for fun here's the list (ranking of the wins are mine) that I referenced in my last post.

    1. Matt McDonough dec Brandon Precin 3-1
    2. Matt McDonough fall Brandon Precin (I've got this one lower due to how badly McDonough was losing before the headlock)
    3. Anthony Robles tech Zach Sanders 20-2
    4. Matt McDonough dec Zach Sanders 10-3
    5. Anthony Robles tech Jarrod Patterson 16-1
    6. Anthony Robles maj Jarrod Patterson 13-1
    7. Anthony Robles maj Nic Bedelyon 8-0
    8. Anthony Robles tech Jarrod Garnett 17-0
    9. Anthony Robles maj Jon Morrison 11-0
    10. Matt McDonough dec Jon Morrison 7-3
    11. Anthony Robles tech Jason Lara 17-0
    12. Anthony Robles maj Jason Lara 15-4
    13. Matt McDonough maj Ryan Mango 10-1
    14. Anthony Robles tech Matt Snyder 16-0
    15. Anthony Robles tech Trent Sprenkle 18-2

    Robles: 10
    McDonough: 5

From "top to bottom" Robles has wrestled the tougher schedule and as a result of that in my opinion deserves the #1.

We'll see whether the seeders agree with your opinion or with mine here in a couple of days.

That may be, but you sure do like to shade the facts so hard they are barely recognizable as such. McD has wrestled 4 guys in the top 5? Really?

Yes he has wrestled 4 guys ranked in the top 5. Just like using Robles vs Patterson, Lira, Morrison multiple times. RPI would give McD the edge since he beat Precin 2 times (ranked 2nd and 3rd) when he beat him and also beat Sanders who was ranked 5th. I am done fighting with you guys on this. McD has beat better wrestlers than Robles.
