Go Hawkeyes.
Interesting to see what this does to his seed. Covington should slide up to the #4 spot and assuming Ben Bennett wins the MAC he might get the #5.
Could wind up with a Lewnes v. Henrich quarterfinal.

If they strongly emphasize conference performance over the whole season's work then you could be right. However, Bennett has five losses whereas Henrich only has two as the returning 3rd place finisher who beat Bennett twice last season. If Bennett's only losses were to Lewnes and Reader then I would be more inclined to seed him 5th, but he also dropped a match to Nick Purdue recently. It may not matter either way as Lewnes and Colby Covington are wrestling at an extremely high level right now. So is Jon Reader (like he has all season) while the jury is still out on Ed "The Truth" Ruth, didn't seem like a particularly inspired semifinal performance for him.
