I don't see how Oliver has been more impressive than Burroughs or Reader, honestly. Burroughs put a nice beating on Howe, and Reader beat Lewnes pretty convincingly.

I like Oliver, but much like my man Charlie Sheen, Reader and Burroughs are totally f---kin' bitchin' rock stars from Mars, and they have spent all year doing what they do best....WINNING!!

I'm saying he will have been more impressive at big 12s because he is so much better than his guys at his weight. Didn't say his body of work for the year was more impressive.

This is likely old news to most, but ISU is webcasting two mats of Big 12's.

More often than not these awards are like "lifetime achievement" awards, for that reason(and his dominance over one of the toughest big 12 weights) I think Burroughs gets it.

Burroughs will in all likelihood win at least one of them (and deservedly so, he's in the toughest weight and he's abused the other four guys). The interesting decision will be if they decide to give him both or if they have to make the call between Oliver and Reader.

Might depend on which award they give to Burroughs.

The rumor on the Iowa State board is that Spangler will be wrestling instead of Sorenson at 165. If it's true, I hope it's because Sorenson is physically unable to wrestle. He has done a darn good job this year and deserves to have a shot at nationals.

That would be a rough break for him. He's been one of the more improved guys in the country when he's been on the mat.
