    Default Conference Qualifier Allocations Released

    http://intermatwrestle.com/articles/8149

Big 10 leads the way with 64 auto qualifiers and 8 apiece at 133, 149, and 174.

Big 12 gets all 5 through at 165, but then only one apiece at 149 and 157.

Just 2 spots at 125 for the WWC... As a wrestling fan from the mountain west, it's going to be tough to see either Kjar (Utah Valley), Martinez (Wyoming) or Sprenkle (North Dakota) left out. While none may be vying for the championship, anyone of them could AA with a strong performance.

Martinez has been awful this year. Hasn't done enough to qualify in my mind.

Also, 8 qualifiers at 149 in Big 10. That says to me Iowa sends 10 to NCAA's.

Looking at 149 in the Big 10, this is quite a statement about how poor 149 is nationally.

Absolutely. It's bad in the big 10. I'm not sure how it got that many to be honest.

So will every bracket be the same size? If so is it a 33 man bracket?

Martinez doesn't have enough matches at 125 to qualify the weight. He's not been "awful" since moving down, although he has a head scratcher.

Kjar, Martinez and Sprenkle should all make the show. Flores is the guy who can make things interesting if he continues to wrestle well.

Dart: You are probably right about Martinez but he lost so many at 33 i kinda lost hope.
