Ex Central Missouri wrestler/coach on CBS' "Amazing Race"
Gary Ervin, a former wrestler and coach at the University of Central Missouri, is one of the contestants on the new season of the popular CBS TV series The Amazing Race which debuted Sunday night.
Ervin, 53, from Morganfield, Ky., is partnered with his daughter Mallory, 23, as one of eleven pairs of contestants who are competing for a second time on the 18th season of the reality show titled "Unfinished Business" built around an around-the-world race incorporating various challenges along the way.
Gary Ervin, a 1980 graduate of Central Missouri, was a four-year varsity letterman as a wrestler for the Mules.

He is one of the assistant coaches for Union County High School in Kentucky (his brother Robert is the head coach). Union County has won state 3 out of the past 5 years and his son was the starting 125 pounder before he got hurt.
