Where does it say he HAS to? He never asked for her to be removed from the tournament or even said a bad word about her. He simply chose not to wrestle her. Why is that bad? If he had complained about a girl being there or said something to the effect that she didn't belong there, then he would have been a bit out of line. He didn't do that. He forfeited the match and moved on. Why can't some other people just move on?

He was interviewed on the local news tonight and said that he didnt have anything against her. He just thinks that girls should wrestle girls and boys should wrestle boys. I'll see if I can find the clip.

Quinn, after the way Northrup has personally attacked every human, that is just asking too much.

Quinn said that Northrup didn't make a big deal and has moved on, and Quinn asked "Why can't people just move on?"

Sarcastically, I replied that Northrup has personally attacked every human being (that includes you, me, and about 6 billion other people) so no one can forgive him. It was a joke.

I knew it was a joke, I was just too dumb to get it. You know, Northrup and Herkleman have handled this situation in a very mature fashion for a couple of high school kids.

I fully agree with you Souffle. To make that costly of a decision based on conscience in 10th grade shows a lot of maturity. Not everyone will share his convictions, but he didn't make his decision to curry favor. He did it because of what he believed. We need more people like that.
