Sponseller with a solid 5-2 win over the slumping Cody Yohn, was close a few times with a cradle but Yohn was able to use his length pretty well to hold him off.
28-9 Gophers with one match to go.
Glasser gets a stall call to tie and then the TD to win almost simultaneously with about 10 seconds left in the third period to win 4-2 over Heflin. Heflin was trying to coast on a first period fleeing call against Glasser but Glasser did a good job staying after things
31-9 Gophers is the final
Thanks!
That was a really fun dual to watch. Lots of action, lots of points on the board, really no stalling to speak of. Nice win for the Gophers.
Are you saying that SPAZ MODE runs in the Thorn family? Should make for 4 more years of excitement. There is another Thorn I think coming up in 6 years from junior high if I am seeing things right unless that's a cousin.
Pretty sure I've read from people closer to the program/family that David (and I know this is hard to believe) is actually crazier than Mike is.
Did I read right that Mike Thorn tf'd his opponent in 1:33?
No. He looked like he had him pinned at the end of the 1st. He got the tech in the 3rd.
